My name is Jaime Gorgojo, and I\u2019m a professional actor. I grew up between Madrid, Copenhagen, Valencia, Seattle, and Durham, in a family of nomadic medical doctors. This childhood across cities and countries made me a native actor in both Castilian Spanish and American English, with a good ear for accents, a strong ability to adapt, and an international scope.<\/p>

Desde peque\u00f1o, mi padre siempre dec\u00eda que yo iba para \u201cabogado de causas justas\u201d, porque defend\u00eda a las personas marginadas y me indignaban lo que yo llamaba \u201clas injustas injusticias\u201d del mundo. Por ese relato acab\u00e9 estudiando\u00a0Derecho y ADE y el m\u00e1ster de abogac\u00eda en la Universidad Complutense de Madrid, aunque a mitad de camino ya estaba compagin\u00e1ndolo con Arte Dram\u00e1tico, porque no pod\u00eda (ni quer\u00eda) alejarme de la interpretaci\u00f3n. Con el tiempo, descubr\u00ed que m\u00e1s que defender causas ante un tribunal, lo que realmente me mov\u00eda era dar vida a historias humanas, encarnar otras realidades y lograr que, por un momento, el p\u00fablico se reconociera en ellas. Al final, cambi\u00e9 los alegatos por los personajes, y el derecho por la interpretaci\u00f3n, pero la esencia sigue siendo la misma: defender la empat\u00eda a trav\u00e9s de este otro oficio.<\/p>

Over the years, I\u2019ve trained at several acting schools, always eager to keep learning. In Madrid, I studied at El Estudio (formerly Estudio Juan Codina), Estudio Corazza, Actores Madrid, Metr\u00f3polis c.e, and others that helped me find my voice as an actor. I also trained in London, with a Meisner summer course at RADA (Royal Academy of Dramatic Art) and acting workshops at GoHub London. For a while, I worked as a lawyer at AISGE, which gave me a behind-the-scenes look at the industry. And in 2024, I finally made the full leap! Acting became not just my passion, but my profession.\u00a0<\/p>

In 2023, I received a scholarship to join the \u00c1gora Joven ensemble at Teatro Fern\u00e1n G\u00f3mez, where we created and performed a collective piece alongside Compa\u00f1\u00eda Guindalera. That same year, I had a surreal experience with a fictional character I created on TikTok - Inspired by the spanish film 'Primos' (2011). Primos<\/em>I played the character so naturally that many people (including journalists) thought it was real. The story went viral, racking up over 30 million views and receiving coverage both nationally and internationally.<\/p>

En 2024 y 2025 trabaj\u00e9 como co-protagonista en una gira nacional realizando m\u00e1s de 200 funciones de teatro musical en ingl\u00e9s por toda Espa\u00f1a con las obras Excalibur<\/em> and Sleeping Beauty<\/em>. Adem\u00e1s, rod\u00e9 mi primera serie internacional como protagonista, aunque todav\u00eda no puedo revelar detalles. Tambi\u00e9n he participado en las campa\u00f1as promocionales de Squid Game<\/em> (Netflix) and Red One<\/em> (Warner Bros) junto a la empresa Andtonic, viajando por todo el pa\u00eds. Y he trabajado en anuncios para marcas como Nike, Vicio y Loomis. En 2025 me gradu\u00e9 del M\u00e1ster de Direcci\u00f3n Esc\u00e9nica y Teatral, aprendiendo de grandes referentes del teatro como Chiqui Carabante, Andr\u00e9s Lima, Carlota Ferrer, Luis Luque, Pablo Rem\u00f3n y Laila Ripoll. Esto me ha impulsado a cumplir otro peque\u00f1o sue\u00f1o: dar clases de interpretaci\u00f3n en una escuela profesional. Fui profesor de interpretaci\u00f3n en El Estudio (antiguo Estudio Juan Codina) y en Palomitas Teatro, donde ense\u00f1aba a actuar y dirij\u00eda obras con alumnos talentosos. Pero actualmente trabajo a tiempo completo como actor en obras de teatro de dos compa\u00f1\u00edas: Beares Teatro y La Vaca Feliz Producciones.<\/p>

For me, acting isn\u2019t just a job\u2014 <\/span>sino una forma de entender el mundo a trav\u00e9s de otros ojos. Me queda mucho por descubrir (de m\u00ed mismo y de los personajes que interpretar\u00e9), pero lo que no cambia es mi compromiso de seguir aprendiendo, seguir trabajando con pasi\u00f3n y contar historias que conecten con los dem\u00e1s. Este sue\u00f1o, que para muchos puede parecer imprudente, para m\u00ed no es una elecci\u00f3n: es una vocaci\u00f3n profunda, una llamada que no puedo ignorar.<\/span><\/p>
